Dingle, Co. Kerry

An extension to the side of an existing rural house positioned overlooking Dingle Bay. The new box extension was designed in response to the site, landscape and local context, and is deliberately set in contrast to the existing house to create a bold statement of contemporary architecture in a rural setting. The cantilevered first floor with balcony and views over Dingle Bay is spectacular.
